Your boyfriend needs to do the same.

It is one of the most overrated questions to ask, and depending on how it is used and how often you use it, its power would vary. Should you ask him this question too often, such as once when you wake up, once after lunch, and once before sleeping, every day, asking him again now would only give you the same, usual response. You need to be deadly serious when you ask this question and whether the answer is acceptable or not will depend on you.
Do note that you do not have to interrogate your boyfriend. You could ask these questions over a period of time, or whenever you feel the mood is right. It is a guide to help you decide if your relationship is worthwhile and if it is the right one to fully invest your feelings into. It would be preferable if your boyfriend could answer you on the spot, but some questions do need time to answer while some questions need to be answered immediately, and without hesitation! It would be fall on you to decide if these questions need to have an answer you want.
